The charges stemmed from Seal’s 2-year-old child, who died of a fentanyl overdose in January 2024. Deputies from the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office reported that on January 6, 2024, they responded to a home for a report of a 2-year-old not breathing.

The child was taken to a hospital where they died. The release noted that the level of fentanyl in the child’s system was enough to kill a grown adult.
