Fox Crossing Police Department investigating shooting that left one man hurt

FOX CROSSING, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Fox Crossing say they are investigating a shooting that left one man injured Tuesday night.

According to a release from the Fox Crossing Police Department, officers responded at 7:48 p.m. to the 1000 block of Racine Road for a weapons complaint.

Police say they found one man who appeared to have been shot in the leg and took him to the hospital where he is receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say there is no threat to the public at this time and no other information is currently being released as an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
