DOOR COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Door County Sheriff’s Office is alerting residents about two ongoing phone scams targeting the community.
According to a Facebook post from The Door County Sheriff’s Office, during the first scam, callers pose as a grandchild in trouble, claiming they have been arrested and need bail money.
In the second scam, individuals impersonate police officers from the Sheriff’s Office, requesting money.
