Stays warm Tuesday – a few areas get light rain

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

We managed to reach 81 degrees the last two days! Now, we slowly cool off to near normal temperatures heading toward the middle of the week. It will still be unseasonably warm today as highs will be about 15 degrees above normal. Some of the area will be getting light rain or sprinkles within the next 24 hours as a weak disturbance, and a weak cold front swing through Wisconsin. Better rain chances for everyone will come through Thursday evening/night.

Partly sunny skies Tuesday with a high of 71 degrees. SSW winds pick up this afternoon from 10 to 25 miles per hour – it’s also in the afternoon when isolated light rain showers or sprinkles may fall in a few places.

Tonight, another rain chance will emerge along a weak cold front. The best chance for light rain again will be north of Green Bay mainly between 9pm and 1am. Behind the front will be gusty winds which pick up overnight! The low is 48 degrees.

Cool and windy Wednesday with NW winds from 15 to 30 miles per hour. That chillier wind moving over Lake Superior and the Bay of Green Bay could bring some lake effect light rain to the northwoods or Door County. The high drops to 56 degrees. Most will not get rain, instead, the sky will be cloudy in the morning and sunnier in the afternoon.

Thursday is looking nice during the day. Mostly sunny and 63 degrees. Another cold front will bring widespread rain showers in the evening or overnight.

More sunshine on Friday with a high of 62 degrees.

Saturday will be very sunny and 58 degrees.

Sunny again on Sunday! The high is 60 degrees.
