Very cold night ahead

The latest Northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

It’s been another cooler day here across Northeast Wisconsin, as winds continue to push in out of the north. The gusty overnight will then force temps to plummet into the 30s and 20s with most areas bottoming out below freezing. Both freeze warnings and frost advisories have been issued until 9am tomorrow morning.

Into tomorrow high pressure will build back in, not only kicking out the cloud cover and any lingering rain chances, but also pushing our winds back in out of the southwest. This will actually help temps warm up a touch throughout tomorrow afternoon, and then eventually push in more mild temps with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s by the weekend. High pressure will keep sunshine in place for the rest of this work week as well.
