Wausau man ‘Bee Her’ receives 8-year prison sentence for distributing methamphetamine

(WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say a man who pleaded guilty to distributing over 50 grams or more of methamphetamine is now sentenced to eight years in federal prison.

According to a release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin, investigators with the Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force identified 45-year-old Bee Her as a multi-pound methamphetamine dealer operating out of Wausau.

On October 13, 2023, officials say a confidential informant purchased a pound of methamphetamine from Her at his home in Wausau.

Then on October 23, 2023, a confidential informant received two ounces of methamphetamine from Her. Her was arrested on February 8, 2024, on an active supervision warrant.

Information from that investigation led officials to believe that he was working with the cartels to help traffic the methamphetamine and that the cartels were using Her to try and establish a line and system near Wausau. He reportedly told investigators that he would receive five pounds of methamphetamine every two to three weeks for distribution.

During the time of his arrest, officials say he was already on state supervision for two felony charges, one being for a conviction of Child Enticement-Sexual Contact and the other on convictions for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The supervision on the child sex crime was said to not be revoked while his supervision on the drug case was revoked and he was sentenced to one year in jail.
